I want this to be a time to learn, but also to relax and re-charge. So I will not be upset if you decide to not participate in everything I have planned. Above all I want everyone to have a good time and use the weekend for whatever you need right then.
If you have already started your journey towards leading a healthy active life, this is great! If you're not sure what that journey looks like and want to email me for ideas ahead of time, please do so. The type of exercise I plan on using this weekend is part Yoga, part Pilates and mostly using your "core" muscles. We’ll talk about how to stay motivated too. Indoor pool and hot tub to help you relax. Exercise & Stretching activites will be held in the early morning for those interested. Every experience level welcome. Cooking together! Lots of chopping of fresh food and learning how to put together a quick fresh dinner. Also a fun, decadent dessert, that is still healthy. You’ll be trying new food items and recipes. Take home a folder full of information on cooking fresh and healthy! An art project that does not require any previous experience or artistic talent.Something new and fun.
Hiking, so bring comfortable shoes and clothing as the weather indicates. Layers are always good! Hiking poles are great too. Drink - Bringing a bottle of wine to share is fine. We just won't over indulge. :-) Campfire time if weather allows each evening...Soak in a bubble bath or go to bed early... Curl up on a comfy sofa to watch a chick flick...Whatever you want in the evenings.
